Who We Are
Michigan Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice
MI-RCRC,
with units in Lansing and Ann Arbor, is the only state-wide,
faith-based organization working for a woman's right to
choose.
MI-RCRC
members are religious people from a variety of traditions. We
believe a pregnant woman deserves full information on all the
options before her: parenthood, adoption, and abortion. We
believe that a woman's own understanding of God's loving
purpose for her life enables her to make responsible and moral
decisions about her pregnancy.
MI-RCRC strives to
be a true coaliton working closely with other pro-choice
groups to monitor legislation, distribute voting guides, and
sponsor educational events.
MI-RCRC provides an
All Options Clergy Counseling Service for women who seek spiritual
assistance regarding both an unintended pregnancy and following
an abortion.
MI-RCRC supports
Medical Students for Choice chapters at Michigan State
University, University of Michigan, and Wayne State
University.
Mi-RCRC's
newsletter reaches several hundred homes in more than 75
Michigan communities.
Believe it:
People of all faiths
believe a woman
should decide. |
